Biography

I am Hawara Nawzad Karim. I was born in Koya City in 1989 and completed my school education there. I began my undergraduate studies at Koya University, earning a BA degree in Psychology in 2010. Between 2011 and 2013, I pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Psychology at the same university. After completing my master's degree, I was appointed by the Ministry of Higher Education (MHE) in the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and worked as a lecturer at Koya University until the end of May 2019. In June 2019, I transferred to Salahaddin University-Erbil (SUE), where I joined the Psychology Department in the College of Arts. In the 2020–2021 academic year, I began my PhD studies in mental health at Salahaddin University-Erbil. I successfully earned my PhD degree in 2024 and currently work in the aforementioned department at SUE.
